Christmas

What a wonderful break this has been! We have had so much fun. Last Monday we had the Goff's over for a Christmas family home evening. We had a great lesson taught by Preston, then we watched Joy to the World, and finished the night off by decorating Christmas cookies.

With all of the snow, we decided to take the kids sledding. The park we went to was awesome! The hill had stairs built into it which was so nice especially for the kids.

Christmas morning was spent here at home and later we went to Nona's house to hang out and have dinner. Santa brought us an Xbox/kinect so we brought it over there and Papa set it up over the projector. It will be so nice to have something for the kids to do this winter that makes it so they are getting some exercise.

Nonie and Papa Don also came to visit. Nonie made all the girls these adorable aprons, that we are modeling here.

The break went way too fast, but I guess time flies when you're having fun!

Mischeivous girl

So the other day I was in the shower and Kiera was in her room playing. Usually she does not get herself into trouble but, occasionally she does. She's really good about playing or looking at books while i do this. Well,  I walked downstairs to discover this........

Apparently she was very thirsty for some chocolate milk and did not want to wait until I got out. I looked at the final product, obviously she thought it took a lot of chocolate and a lot less milk to make her choclate milk taste good.

And she spilled some on her dress, so she decided to take it off.

Ward Christmas party

Last weekend was our ward Christmas party. Corbin was asked to be Joseph. Kind of a big deal. I'm just saying :)

He didn't have a speaking part or anything, but he was way adorable and sat through the whole program very well.
The primary sang for everyone, Kiera's not technically part of the primary yet, she still has a few weeks to go before she's a sunbeam, but she asked if she could go sing with the other children.

There was also a very special guest that made an appearance.
She ran up there arms wide open, gave him a hug and then went through the list of goodies she wanted.

The dinner was also pretty impressive, they did a great job. And everyone brought dessert.

We took some pictures before we left by the tree.
I love Kiera's face in this one, so funny.

 Too sweet!
