Monsters

Hi monster, my name is Kiera. And this is my daddy, his name is Preston. He is scared of monsters, but I am not scared of them. We can be friends, okay? Ok.

Preston told Kiera to go upstairs to get a diaper. She walked over to the stairs and said that to the stairs before she went up. Hilarious!

Pacer's Game

Last week Preston's brother Nathan came to visit us. He's interviewing for dental school, it would be so fun to have him and Ava here! Anyway, we tried to show him a good time so we went a Pacer's game.

See how far we are up in the stands? This was not acceptable. So at half-time we went down to the lower level. There are "bouncers" at every door but we just walked through confident like we knew where we were going.
Much better.
The half time show had this crazy lady on a unicycle with bowls balanced on one foot and she kicked them up in the air and they all landed, stacked mind you, on her head. She was ama-za-zing!

The pictures don't do her justice.

Corbin's football game

I enrolled Corbin in a flag football league with the Y. He loves it! I wasn't sure what he would think, but he's doing really well, so next year I think we'll step it up, since this is just a 6-week league and the coaches, are well, nice :)

Oh and it's co-ed, but you need to be 4 to play, maybe next year?!

Halloween

So we had lots of spooky fun this Halloween. First we went to a party at mom and dad's. I was a flapper girl and Preston was my gangster boyfriend! I love dressing up for Halloween, I think it's so fun! My parents throw a good party!

We carved pumpkins, the kids loved getting their hands all gooey in the pumpkin guts. My friend Lacey came over to help. She did a great job on that wolf!

We went to the ward trunk or treat, it was way fun. And since Halloween was on Sunday this year, we got some familes together to go on Saturday. We had a great time. Corbin was a ninja and Kiera was a pumpkin. We have waaaay to much candy in this house, let me know if you want some, I will send it your way!

Joyschool fieldtrip

Well, I'm so behind in my blogging, but better late than never I suppose! This is what hygiene school does to a girl....anyway. In mid-October we had a joy school field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a blast and Kiera had so much fun! They had a pony ride, although it was a ripoff and they only took her around the circle once, but she loved it so I guess that's what matters. We also went on a hayride to pick out our pumpkins. Kiera spent most of the ride burying her legs with hay.

After the hayride we fed some goats and they had this huge pumpkin-eating-dinosaur, with sounds effects and everything. The girls were so scared and hugging each other, it was so sweet!
