Halloween

Thanksgiving has come and gone, but here is our Halloween post anyway!! Kiera really wanted to be a witch this year which was really convenient because 2 years ago I picked up a witch constume at Target's 90% off sale, which made it about $1.25. It was not convenient however, that  Kiera is a "good" sized girl and the costume looked like a shirt on her. So added some really long black trim to the bottom to add length and it really looks like the dress came that way. Corbin wanted to be a lego man and so I made his costume out of cardboard. Both of them look adorable. Halloween activitiies included a party for our friend's son and trick or treating around my mom's neighborhood. We also took a trip to the apple works, and I can't believe we had never been there before! It was so fun and they had a lot to do. We picked a pumpkin, played games, petted animals, went down a dark tube slide and ate the most delicious apple dumpling ever! I've never even had an apple dumpling before, but this was sooo good, I want to make some on my own.

Kiera is 4

Kiera was dead set on having a candy sleepover birthday party this year. I was probably a little crazy for having 8 kids sleepover at my house, but they were actually really well behaved and I would totally do it again.

Here is the candy bar which was everyone's goody bag to take home after the party.

Some of the decorations

Everyone diggin' in

The cake, it was homemade, chocolate and banana cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting

Candyland

BYU vs. Ole' Miss

We were lucky enough to go down for the BYU game to watch Tyler play. We had such great seats, about 5 rows up on the 30-40 yard line. We drove down...about 8.5 hours (Sheesh it was long) and made it in time to eat at this mexican restaurant where we took some pictures of the kids on this donkey, unfortunately the food was horrible. Then we went to the fireside at a local stake center, it was crowded! Every chair in the building was used including , hallways, foyers, relief society room, etc. We had a very front row seat on the floor right in front of the pulpit, it was so fun to go. We camped for the night next to a lake and then went swimming before the big game. Everyone was son nice to us and even stopped us to say things like "Thanks y'all for coming down" southern hospitality for sure!!

First Day of School

Corbin started second grade this year and Kiera began preschool! Our babies are getting so big!
