Wagon

We had a party and while we were playing ping pong in the garage and we found Kiera like this

I guess she was tired, but she hates to miss out on the action!

The many faces of Kiera

Kiera is such a character, I love every little face she makes.

St. Patrick's Day

We woke up to green milk and green pancakes, those sneaky leprechauns! Every year there is a parade downtown, it's pretty mediocre, but the kids always have a great time and I can't say no to free candy. Before we left Corbin made a leprechaun trap thinking he could catch him while we were away.  He put lots of green things in there to attract the little guy, including money, lifesavers, a little glass of green milk and to top it off he made girl leprechaun out of bendaroos. The CTR ring is so that he can marry her. So sweet!!

The kids got balloons, silly green hats and the faces painted.

Valentine's Day

I realize it's May and I'm posting about Valentine's day, but in my defense I have been very busy with school and I'm on break now, so here they are :)

We had a delicious dinner at our house with the Thompsons and the Merkleys. The guys made dinner, and it was awesome!

A little bit of the decor to set the mood...

A photo of the group, minus me since I'm behind the camera...
We ended the night with dancing and games with more friends, the whole night was very memorable and tons of fun.

Carsicle

After the ice storm my car looked like this...

Oh hurry up Spring!

Mickey

So have had a few issues with a certain "Mickey" in our garage lately. I've seen him scurry around only 2 times, and found his "raisins" laying around. (like my purse...I know, disgusting) Anyway, I asked Preston to take the trash out to the cans outside, and I had seen Mickey run out of the bag. So he did, but he couldn't find the cans, because they had been moved. So he brought the bag IN THE HOUSE asking where the cans were. After he figured it out, and picked up the bag to take it, the little guy took off! So of course we're all screaming and freaking out and trying to figure out what to do. Luckily we were in the middle of home repair and had some tools laying around to scare him. Miles grabbed a drill and a flashlight, Preston had a hammer, and Maril grabbed a broom.

Grandma hiding under the pillow. She wouldn't come out until we had gotten the mouse out of the house!

Poor little guy was so scared, but he had to go!

Christmas #2

We were lucky enough to have Preston's family come visit us for a week after the holidays. We decided to celebrate Christmas together at this time. It was so fun to have them here.

Nana and Kiera making Christmas cookies.

This was our tree that we hung on the wall. Thank you Auntie Carla! We love it!

Kiera loved this Ruldolph decoration, she carried it around all week!

Corbin got a new bike! He grew out of the one we got him when he turned 3, can't wait until all the snow melts so he can take it for a spin!!

Kiera got a new dollhouse! Nana did such a wonderful job of putting this together. What a great idea! (I don't know what she's doing with her ears)

Grandma Sue made us a wonderful dinner, it was too good to not take a picture of. She's truly talented!
