Carsicle

After the ice storm my car looked like this...

Oh hurry up Spring!

Mickey

So have had a few issues with a certain "Mickey" in our garage lately. I've seen him scurry around only 2 times, and found his "raisins" laying around. (like my purse...I know, disgusting) Anyway, I asked Preston to take the trash out to the cans outside, and I had seen Mickey run out of the bag. So he did, but he couldn't find the cans, because they had been moved. So he brought the bag IN THE HOUSE asking where the cans were. After he figured it out, and picked up the bag to take it, the little guy took off! So of course we're all screaming and freaking out and trying to figure out what to do. Luckily we were in the middle of home repair and had some tools laying around to scare him. Miles grabbed a drill and a flashlight, Preston had a hammer, and Maril grabbed a broom.

Grandma hiding under the pillow. She wouldn't come out until we had gotten the mouse out of the house!

Poor little guy was so scared, but he had to go!

Christmas #2

We were lucky enough to have Preston's family come visit us for a week after the holidays. We decided to celebrate Christmas together at this time. It was so fun to have them here.

Nana and Kiera making Christmas cookies.

This was our tree that we hung on the wall. Thank you Auntie Carla! We love it!

Kiera loved this Ruldolph decoration, she carried it around all week!

Corbin got a new bike! He grew out of the one we got him when he turned 3, can't wait until all the snow melts so he can take it for a spin!!

Kiera got a new dollhouse! Nana did such a wonderful job of putting this together. What a great idea! (I don't know what she's doing with her ears)

Grandma Sue made us a wonderful dinner, it was too good to not take a picture of. She's truly talented!

New Years!!

Well it's a little late, but better late than never I suppose! For New Year's we celebrated with our friend's the Cutler's. We had a blast fondueing with them. Tons of yummy things to eat, no way we would eat it all.

Of course we had to have something fancy to drink at midnight. I love the sparkling lemonades that Aldi's carries, delish! We had French berry and lemonade.

Even though the Cutler's only live about 5 minutes away, we had a sleepover! It was such a fun night, Hope the rest of 2011 is just as good!
